Al-Sadd concludes preparations for Al-Ahli, Ferreira announces the squad

The Al-Sadd football first team concluded its preparations on Saturday evening, ahead of the upcoming QNB Stars League Round 18 match against Al-Ahli, which is set to kick off at 4:50 PM on Sunday at the Jassim bin Hamad Stadium.

Al-Sadd go into the match, sitting in second place in the league table with 43 points while Al-Ahli are in seventh place with 19 points. The first phase meeting between the two sides ended in a 2-1 win for Al-Sadd.

The Wolves are looking to keep their winning run going in order to remain in the title race, with a potentially decisive game against Al-Duhail coming up in the next Round.

On Saturday, the Al-Sadd coaching staff implemented light technical training before holding a practice mini-game between the players.

After the session, the head coach Jesualdo Ferreira announced the 18-man squad for the game: Saad Al-Dosari, Meshaal Barsham, Yasir Abubakar, Pedro Miguel, Baghdad Bounedjah, Xavi, Morteza Pouraliganji, Khoukhi Boualem, Hamed Ismail, Jugurtha Hamroun, Ali Asad, Ali Ferydoon, Abdelkarim Hassan, Akram Afif, Musab Kheder, Salem Al-Hajri, Hassan Ahmed, Ahmed Suhail.

Later, the squad left for a closed camp at the Westin Doha hotel where they will stay until the time of departure for the game.
