AFC Champions League: Al-Sadd conclude their preparations ahead of Esteghlal clash

The Al-Sadd football first team concluded its preparations for the upcoming AFC Champions League quarterfinal clash with Esteghlal, after holding a final training session at Tehran’s Azadi Stadium on Sunday evening. The match is set to be played at the same venue on Monday, with kick-off scheduled for 7 PM Doha time.

The players were in high spirits as they put the final touches before the match, with the entire team hoping to return home with a positive result ahead of the second leg, which will be played in Doha on September 17.

As usual, the final session featured light training, with head coach Jesualdo Ferreira overseeing technical and tactical drills, in addition to shooting practice. Later, the players faced off in a mini practice game among themselves. Ferreira was keen to speak to certain players so as to give them special instructions that will be required for Monday’s game.
