At the end of Friday’s final training session, head coach Xavi Hernandez announced the matchday squad. Baghdad Bounedjah, Hamid Ismail and Tarek Salman miss out due to suspension after their red cards in last season’s Amir Cup final.
The full squad is as follows: Saad Al-Dosari, Meshaal Barsham, Ahmed Sayyar, Abdelkarim Hassan, Ali Asad, Abdulaziz Al Ansari, Hassan Al-Haydos, Hussain Bahzad, Bahaa Ellethy, Gabi, Yasir Abubakar, Khoukhi Boualem, Salem Al-Hajri, Akram Afif, Nam Tae-hee, Jung Woo-young, Pedro Miguel, Hashim Ali.
Later, the squad left for an overnight camp at the Torch hotel, from where they will leave for the game tomorrow.
