Al-Sadd conclude preparations for facing El-Jaish in Qatar Cup final

Al-Sadd football first team concluded on Friday evening its preparations for the upcoming 2017 Qatar Cup final against El-Jaish, which will be played on Saturday at the Jassim bin Hamad Stadim (kickoff at 7 PM).

Training session

The coaches implemented the physical training routine alongside some light technical drills during Friday’s final training session, before moving on to a practice match in the middle of the pitch.

18-man squad

After the end of the session, head coach Jesualdo Ferreira announced the 18-man matchday squad for the game. The squad is as follows:

Saad Al-Dosari, Muhannad Naim, Abdulkarim Hassan, Morteza Pouraliganji, Hussam Kamal, Jasir Yahya, Xavi, Hamid Ismail, Hamza Al-Sanhaji, Ali Asad, Jugurtha Hamroun, Baghdad Bounedjah, Hassan Al-Haydos, Meshaal Al-Shammari, Ahmed Bader Sayyar, Salem Al-Hajri, Ibrahim Majid, Pedro.

Salem Al-Hajri returns

Midfielder Salem Al-Hajri made his return to the squad for the first time since being ruled out of action in February after a cartilage injury.

Closed camp at the Westin hotel

The team later left for a closed camp at the Westin Doha Hotel, where they will stay until the time of departure for the match.
