Al-Sadd conclude preparations for Al-Shahaniya clash

Al-Sadd wrapped up their preparations for the upcoming QNB Stars League Week 2 game against Al-Shahaniya, which is set to kick off at 7:20 PM on Saturday at the Jassim bin Hamad Stadium.

The Wolves go into the game with a tally of three points after a 4-1 win over Al-Wakrah in their opening game. Al-Shahaniya are pointless after losing 0-3 to Al-Gharafa.

After the end of Friday’s final training session, Al-Sadd head coach Xavi Hernandez announced the 19-member matchday squad.

The squad is as follows: Saad Al-Dosari, Meshaal Barsham, Khoukhi Boualem, Khaled Al-Yazidi, Hassan Al-Haydos, Salem Al-Hajri, Akram Afif, Abdelkarim Hassan, Pedro Miguel, Ahmed Sayyar, Tarek Salman, Baghdad Bounedjah, Hamid Ismail, Abdulaziz Al-Ansari, Gabi, Ali Asad, Jung Woo-young, Hashim Ali, Hussain Bahzad

South Korean midfielder Nam Tae-hee will be unavailable as he is still recuperating from a muscle injury. Yasir Abubakar will also miss the game due to the death of his father.
Meanwhile, Algerian striker Baghdad Bounedjah is set to make his first domestic apperance this season, after serving out a two-match suspension.
