Al-Sadd conclude preparations for Al-Khor, Xavi announces the squad

Al-Sadd head coach Xavi Hernandez has announced the matchday squad for the clash against Al-Khor, a postponed game from the seventh week of the QNB Stars League.

The match will kick off at 7 pm on Tuesday, January 21st, at Al-Khor Club Stadium.

Al-Sadd enter the game in third place in the table with 21 points, while Al-Khor team occupy tenth place with 9 points.

The squad list consists of 18 players: Saad Al-Dosari, Meshaal Barsham, Pedro Miguel, Khokhi Boualem, Jung Woo-young, Salem Al-Hajri, Hussam Kamal, Ali Asad, Akram Afif, Baghdad Bounedjah, Nam Tae-hee, Hassan Al-Haydos, Rami Suhail, Mustafa Tariq, Abdulkarim  Hassan, Hashem Ali, Abdulaziz Al-Ansari, Yasser Abubakar

Gabi, Tarek Salman and Hamed Ismail are absent from the squad due to injury.

Al-Sadd held its last practice session on the club’s secondary pitch, which witnessed physical exercise and some light skill training, which was followed by a focus on training with the ball, individually and collectively.

After the end of the session, the Wolves entered an overnight camp at Al-Messila Hotel, from where they will travel tomorrow to the stadium.
