Al-Hajri: We must help create history for the club

Al-Sadd midfielder Salem Al-Hajri spoke of the difficulty of his side’s upcoming AFC Champions League semifinal clash with Al-Hilal and the need for the players to be focused.

Speaking at the pre-match press conference, Al-Hajri said: “As players, we need to take this opportunity to create history and reach the final.”

“We need to help write the pages of history for the club. We cannot afford to make mistakes against Al-Hilal. The players are fully focused for this important clash.”

Al-Hajri also added: “We will play without pressure. It’s true that the match could be decisive but we are ready for it. Our concentration is at peak levels and we are looking to get a positive result before the second leg.”
