Al-Dosari returns to squad, Meshaal and Jong miss out

Al-Sadd concluded their preparations for the upcoming QNB Stars League game against Umm Salal, with a final training session on Friday evening at the Thani bin Jassim Stadium.

During the session, the team worked on technical skills and certain reaction exercises, in addition to some movement drills.

The squad announcement which followed the session saw Meshaal Barsham and Jung Woo-young miss out due to injury. Meanwhile, Saad Al-Dosari returned to the squad following his recovery from injury which kept him out of the team recently.

The 18-man matchday squad is as follows: Jehad Mohammed, Saad Al-Dosari, Yasir Abubakar, Khoukhi Boualem, Tareq Salman, Baghdad Bounedjah, Pedro Miguel, Xavi, Gabi, Musab Kheder, Hamid Ismail, Akram Afif, Abdelkarim Hassan, Ali Asad, Salem Al-Hajri, Ahmed Sayyar, Hassan Ahmed, Hassan Al-Haydos

After the session, the team left for an overnight stay at the Westin Doha Hotel, from where they will depart for the game on Friday evening.
