AFC Champions League: Al-Sadd to debut yellow third kit, Esteghlal to play in blue

The match coordination meeting for the 2018 AFC Champions League quarterfinal first leg clash between Al-Sadd and Esteghlal was held on Sunday morning at the Iranian football federation headquarters.

Al-Sadd are set to face off with their Iranian opponents on Monday, with kick-off slated for 7 PM (Doha time) at the Azadi Stadium.

During the match coordination meeting, the attendees discussed and agreed on AFC security regulations and various other organisational details pertaining to the match such as the entry of the players, the area allocated to the media and medical staff, timing of warmups and entry to the pitch.

The kits for two teams were also confirmed during the meeting. Al-Sadd will play in their all-yellow third kit for the first time, while Esteghlal are set to play in their all-blue kit.

The meeting was attended by match commissioner Davlatmand Islomov, referees observer Omar Musa Khalaf and representatives of the two teams. Al-Sadd were represented by Abdullah Al-Breik and Abdulaziz Al-Jeaidi.
