AFC Champions League: Al-Sadd delegation set to travel to Jeddah on Sunday

The Al-Sadd football first team delegation will travel to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia via Kuwait on Sunday, ahead of their 2019 AFC Champions League opening Group D game against Al-Ahli. The game is set to be played on Tuesday evening at the King Abdullah Sports City Stadium.

The delegation consists of 20 players, in addition to technical staff and team officials led by general manager Turki Al-Ali.

The 20-man matchday squad is as follows: Saad Al-Dosari, Meshaal Barsham, Jehad Mohammed, Khoukhi Boualem, Yasir Abubakar, Hassan Al-Haydos, Salem Al-Hajri, Akram Afif, Hassan Ahmed, Abdelkarim Hassan, Pedro Miguel, Baghdad Bounedjah, Hamid Ismail, Meshaal Ibrahim, Tareq Salman, Jung Woo-young, Gabi, Hussain Bahzad, Ali Asad, Bahaa El-Lithy.

Team officials: Turki Al-Ali (general manager), Mohammed Gholam Al-Baloushi (sporting director), Abdullah Al-Breik (first team manager), Mohammed Saeed (first team official), Abdulaziz Al-Jaidi (U23 manager).

Technical staff: Jesualdo Ferreira (head coach), Nuno Miguel (assistant coach), Jose Pedro (fitness coach), Pedro Antonio (technical analyst), Eduardo Perez (goalkeeper coach), Mohammed Soltani (team doctor), Raouf Buqamra and Akram Obaid (physiotherapists), Admir (masseur), Samir Shawqy and Mina Fayez (club media), Abdulmalik Waheed, Musa P and Laris Miah (team assistants).

Meanwhile, the first team held their final training session in Doha at the Jassim bin Hamad Stadium pitch on Saturday evening. During the session, the coaching staff focused on certain offensive and defensive strategies before holding a practice mini game between the players in the middle of the pitch.
