AFC Champions League: Al-Sadd conclude preparations for Al-Hilal clash

Al-Sadd held their final training session on Monday evening, ahead of the AFC Champions League semifinal first leg against Al-Hilal. The game is set to be played at the Jassim bin Hamad Stadium on Tuesday, with kick-off slated for 6:30 PM.

Head coach Xavi Hernandez announced the 18-man matchday squad after the end of Sunday’s final training session. The squad is as follows: Saad Al-Dosari, Meshaal Barsham, Ahmed Sayyar, Abdelkarim Hassan, Ali Asad, Hussain Bahzad, Hassan Al-Haydos, Baghdad Bounedjah, Hamid Ismail, Gabi, Tarek Salman, Khoukhi Boualem, Salem Al-Hajri, Akram Afif, Nam Tae-hee, Jung Woo-young, Abdullah Ismaeel, Hashim Ali.

Later, the squad left for a camp at the Torch hotel, where they will stay overnight before leaving for the game tomorrow.

During Monday’s final training session, many Al-Sadd fans were present at the ground to show their support for the team ahead of the much-awaited semifinal.
