Abdullah Al Breik departs for Zurich to attend Club World Cup draw

Al-Sadd first team manager Abdullah Breik has departed for Zurich, Switzerland to represent the club at the draw for the 2019 FIFA Club World Cup, which is set to be held in Doha between the 11th and 21st of December.

Seven teams are set to take part in the tournament: Al-Sadd (hosts), Hienghene Sport (OFC), Liverpool (Europe), Monterrey (North & Central America), 2019 AFC Champions League winner, 2019 CAF Champions League winner and 2019 Copa Libertadores final.

The draw will be held on September 16 and will determine the match-ups in what will be a knockout system. This will be Al-Sadd’s second appearance in the tournament, after the bronze-medal winning display at the 2011 edition in Japan.
