Abdelkarim Hassan: The important thing is that we regained spirit

​Al-Sadd defender Abdelkarim Hassan stressed that the return of spirit into the team was the most important outcome of the 3-1 win over Al-Arabi on Sunday. He said that Al-Sadd managed to make up for the absences of many players such as Baghdad Bounedjah, Talal Al-Baloushi and Khalfan Ibrahim.

Speaking after the match, the defender said: “Al-Sadd deserved to win the three points after a three-goal win in a very hard fought match, where we managed to establish a two-goal lead in the first half.”

Abdelkarim added: “I am happy with the win and I hope it will be a great motivator for the team in the upcoming matches in order to remain in the top four.”
