A new emblem for a new era

Al-Sadd SC is pleased to officially announce the start of a new era in its history, with the launch of the new emblem of the club coinciding with the fiftieth anniversary of its establishment.

The new emblem, which will be used from the beginning of the upcoming 2020-21 season, retains the circular shape of all previous club logos during the past fifty years and is minimal compared to the ones that came before. The emblem contains the letters S and س , the starting letters of the club’s names in English and Arabic, similar to its predecessor but they appear in a modified way. The year of the club’s founding is placed at the heart of the emblem, while the two golden stars above it represent the Asian Champions League wins of 1989 and 2011.

The name of the club, in Arabic and English, is written with the same font that was used in the last emblem.

The launch of the new emblem comes in line with the commercial and sporting vision of the club, and the goals that it seeks to achieve in various fields in the coming years.
