Salem Al-Hajri: We are prepared to face Persepolis

Al-Sadd midfielder Salem Al-Hajri is confident about his team’s ability to be at their best and get all three points, when they face of with Persepolis on Matchday 2 of the 2019 AFC Champions League.

Speaking to media ahead of Sunday’s main training session, Al-Hajri said: “It will be a tough game. The Al-Sadd players are fully prepared for the game; we are looking to give our best and get our first win of the Asian campaign.”

He added: “We lost the first game but we are capable of making amends against Persepolis. The match will be played at home and in front of our fans, who always stand with the team in the domestic games and in Asia as well.”
