Al-Sadd resume training, Hamroun returns
The Al-Sadd football first team resumed training on Wednesday after a day of rest following the 2-1 win over Al-Wasl in the AFC Champions League.
The team will now prepare for the upcoming QNB Stars League final round game against Al-Kharaitiyat, which is set to be played on Saturday at the Jassim bin Hamad Stadium. Al-Sadd are in second place with 46 points, and they are guaranteed to finish in that position.
Wednesday’s training session saw the Al-Sadd players work hard on the physical and technical aspects of the game, while also focusing on recovery to get rid of the fatigue from the Al-Wasl game.
Meanwhile, Algerian winger Jugurtha Hamroun returned to training on Wednesday after recovering fully from an injury that had kept him out of the last game.
The pre-match press conference will be held from 5 PM onwards on Thursday at the club’s conference hall with the head coach Jesualdo Ferreira and player Bahaa Ellithy in attendance.
