First team resumes training ahead of Round 3

​Al-Sadd football first team resumed training at 6:15 PM on Saturday at the secondary pitch after a rest day on Friday. The day off came following a 2-2 draw with Umm Salal in Round 2 of the Qatar Stars League.

The Saturday session saw the participation of all the players and the coaching staff focussed on tactical and skills training while also correcting the mistakes which happened in the Umm Salal game. The team will now prepare for the match against Al-Wakrah in Round 3, on Saturday, the 26th of September.

On a related note, the players of the reserve team concluded preparations for their QatarGas League opener against Mesaimeer. which kicks off at 6 PM on Sunday at the Saoud bin Abdulrahman Stadium in Al-Wakrah.
