Al-Sadd hold main training session to prepare for Al-Kharaitiyat

The Al-Sadd football first team held their main training session from 5:30 PM onwards on at the club’s training facility, as part of the ongoing preparations for the QNB Stars League Round 12 game against Al-Kharaitiyat. The game is set to kick off at 7:20 PM on Thursday at the Jassim bin Hamad Stadium.

Al-Sadd go into the game sitting in third place in the league table with a tally of 20 points, with two games in hand. On the other hand, Al-Kharaitiyat are in 12th place with three points. The first phase match between the two sides ended in a 6-0 win for Al-Sadd.

During Thursday’s session, the coaching staff worked on selecting the best options for the starting lineup against Al-Kharaitiyat. Head coach Jesualdo Ferreira made the players fight it out against each other in a mini game after the end of the warmup routine.

Goalkeeper Meshaal Barsham and midfielder Jung Woo-young will both miss the Al-Kharaitiyat clash as they haven’t fully recovered from injury.

Meanwhile, it has been confirmed that Ferreira and Pedro will attend the pre-match press conference, which will be held from 4:30 PM at the Al-Sadd club conference hall.
