Hassan Al Haydos named as Al-Sadd’s best player for January

Al-Sadd star Hassan Al-Haydos has been named as the club’s best player for the month of January.

Head coach Jesualdo Ferreira presented the award to Al-Haydos before the start of the training session on Friday, in the presence of sporting director Mohammed Gholam, team manager Abdullah Al-Breik, first team officer Mohammed Saeed and the rest of the Al-Sadd players.

Al-Haydos was chosen for the award on the basis of a fan vote conducted on the club’s official Instagram page.

Speaking to the club website, Al-Haydos said that he was happy to receive the honour.

“I want to thank the fans who voted for me. I also wish to thank my teammates. We need to work hard in the upcoming period in order to give our best, especially as the title race is intense this season,” said Al-Haydos, while also expressing his hope of seeing great support from the Al-Sadd fans in the next game against Qatar SC.

“We will put up a strong performance against Qatar SC. We need to prepare well and be focused in order to win, which will be a great boost for us in the title race.”
