Al-Sadd hold main training session to prepare for Al-Gharafa
Al-Sadd football first team held its main training session from 6 PM on Wednesday, at the club’s training facility in Doha. This comes as part of the preparations for the upcoming QNB Stars League Round 2 match against Al-Gharafa, which will kick off at 7:45 PM on Friday at the Jassim bin Hamad Stadium.
The Wolves go into the match with 6 points from the first two games – a 3-0 win over Al-Markhiya and a 3-2 defeat of Al-Sailiya. As for Al-Gharafa, they have two points from two games – a 1-1 draw with Al-Ahli and a 0-0 result with Umm Salal.
During the training session, the coaching staff focused on selecting their options for the starting lineup. The session saw the players display desire and competitiveness as they looked to be in top shape and ready for selection ahead of the game.
Meanwhile, Algerian striker Baghdad Bounedjah has been ruled out of the game against Al-Gharafa as he has not regained full fitness after suffering an injury in the Sheikh Jassim Cup match against Al-Duhail.
