Khalfan, Al-Haydos & Morteza return to the matchday squad against Al-Shahaniya

The Al-Sadd matchday squad was announced on Wednesday evening and it witnessed the return of Khalfan Ibrahim, Hassan Al-Haydos and Morteza Pouraliganji, who were all unavailable recently through injury.

Difficult match against Al-Shahaniya

Al-Sadd are set to face Al-Shahaniya on Thursday with kickoff at the Jassim bin Hamad Stadium scheduled for 4:35 PM.

Light training session

The coaching staff used Wednesday’s final training session to implement the physical training routine alongside certain light technical drills, before making the players play out a practice match between themselves in the middle of the pitch.

18-man squad

After the end of the session, head coach Jesualdo Ferreira announced the matchday squad for the game against Al-Shahaniya. The 18-man squad consists of Saad Al-Dosari, Muhannad Naim, Abdelkarim Hassan, Morteza Pouraliganji, Ibrahim Majid, Hussam Kamal, Hassan Ahmed, Jasir Yahya, Xavi, Hamza Al-Sanhaji, Pedro, Salem Al-Hajri, Khalfan Ibrahim, Hamed Ismail, Hassan Al-Haydos, Meshaal Qasim and Baghdad Boundejah.

Closed camp at the Westin hotel

The Wolves then left for a closed camp at the Westin Doha Hotel, where they will stay until the time of departure for the match.
