Al-Sadd star Xavi Hernandez attended a Qatar Stars League promotional event at the Gulf Mall on Thursday evening, Xavi signed on T-shirts and footballs while gifts were distributed to the people who thronged the venue.
Al-Arabi player Dutra also made an appearance and interacted with fans. A freestyle football skills show was also part of the attraction while an atmosphere of great fun and happiness took over the place.

Xavi: Excited for the first match

On a related note, Xavi Hernandez spoke of his happiness with the participation of the public in the promotional event of the Qatar Stars League, which kicks off on Friday. The event, which was held over the past few days in the Gulf Mall at Al-Gharafa, was held amid great interaction from all fans, especiallly families and children.
“This is wonderful and good for Qatar Stars League promotion, and I am very happy to be here and participate alongside children and families. I would also like to reiterate my delight; ever since I arrived in Doha, I received a great welcome, and I am very happy to be in Qatar and play for Al Sadd Club. ”

The star also spoke about the first game for his team, which will be against Mesaimeer on Sunday at the Grand Hamad Stadium. He said: “I am excited and motivated; and in this respect I hope that fans of Al-Sadd will come to the stadium to participate alongside the players in the exciting launch of the League. I hope, at the same time, that the team will turn out well at the beginning of this competition. “
