Xavi returns to the squad as Al-Sadd conclude preparations for Al-Shahaniya

Al-Sadd head coach Jesualdo Ferreira has announced the matchday squad for the upcoming QNB Stars League Round 15 game agaisnt Al-Shahaniya, which will be played at the Grand Hamad Stadium on Friday.

Team captain Xavi Hernandez returned to the squad after fully recovering from a muscle injury which had kept him out of action since the QSL Cup tie against Al-Sailiya.

Meanwhile, Abdelkarim Hassan has been ruled out of the game against Al-Shahaniya after picking up a light injury during the final training session on Thursday.

The 18-man squad is as follows: Saad Al-Dosari, Jehad Mohammed, Pedro Miguel, Khoukhi Boualem, Tareq Salman, Hamid Ismail, Musab Kheder, Yousuf Abdulrazaq, Yasir Abubakar, Ahmed Sayyar, Gabi, Jung, Salem Al-Hajri, Xavi, Hassan Al-Haydos, Akram Afif, Hassan Ahmed, Baghdad Bounedjah

The Wolves worked on physical exercises and technical skills during Thursday’s final training session before holding a practice mini game. Later, the team left for an overnight camp at the Torch hotel, from where they will leave for the game on Friday.
