Al-Sadd football first team concluded on Saturday evening its preparations for the friendly match against Al-Nassr (KSA) which will take place at 6:30 PM Austria time (7:30 PM Qatar time) on Sunday. The match is the first of three preseason friendlies scheduled as part of the training camp in Kaprun, which aims at preparing the team for the new 2015/16 season.

The coaching staff put the players to their paces and paid special attention to set piece practice for both attackers and defenders, making them deal with different dead ball situations.

Carreno visits Al-Sadd camp

On a related note, the head coach of the Qatar national team Daniel Carreno visited our training camp in Kaprun. This was in order to inspect the international players ahead of the national team preparatory camp for the World Cup qualifying matches against Bhutan and Hong Kong.

Carreno was welcomed by the coaching staff, management and the players of Al-Sadd. At the end of the evening session, the management gifted Carreno a club jersey. The national team coach is set to watch Al-Sadd play against Al-Nassr on Sunday evening.
