Team takes a day off; tours Munich

The Al-Sadd first team management gave the players a day off from training on Friday, after a period of intense training at the 2017-18 preseason camp currently being held in Bad Häring, Austria.

The players used the break to tour the German city of Munich, which takes around 1.5 hours to reach by bus from Bad Häring. The team members went around the city and took souvenir photos.

Munich is the third biggest city in Europe and the capital of the state of Bavaria. The city is situated on the banks of the river Isar, around 103 kms away from the alps.

With a population of 1.31 million and its location in the centre of Europe, Munich has become an important hub of the continent.

Munich is one of the richest cities in Germany with a number of the country’s biggest companies headquartered in the city, such as BMW, Siemens and Allianz.

The city is also a centre of art, culture and literature in Germnay, being home to many television and radio stations.
