At the start of the meeting, al-Kuwari asked the club representatives for their help in order to make the match a success and also ease the experience for the fans, be it in watching the match or leaving the stadium. The club representatives will be present at all the gates, alongside QSLM officials and security officers in order to ease entry and exit and also lead fans to their allocated seats. Al-Kuwari said that it has been decided to open the gates of the Jassim bin Hamad Stadium from 4:30 PM, two hours before kickoff.
The Events Manager also said that gates have been specially allotted for the fans: Gates 1 & 2 will be for families; Gates 3, 4 & 5 will be for Al-Sadd fans while Gates 6, 7 & 8 will be for Al-Rayyan fans.
Al-Adsani made a plea for people to stay away from the pitch except those accredited by QSLM. He also said that another coordination meeting between the club officials will be held a day before the match, in order to decide on various aspects such as final matchday arrangements, time and place of arrival for the teams, referee panel and warmup schedule etc.
First Lieutenant Mubarak Belal made it clear that the Clasico between Al-Sadd & Al-Rayyan has its own specialty and asked fans to reach the stadium early to avoid rush at the gates. He also requested them to avoid bringing any forbidden items into the stadium.
