Saoud Al-Hajri ruled out of action due to ACL injury
Al-Sadd goalkeeper Saoud Al-Hajri underwent a medical examination on Friday and it was confirmed that he has sustained an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury on his left foot.
Saoud sustained the injury while playing in the 4-4 draw with Turkish side Goztepe in a preseason friendly on Thursday. The game was held as part of the team’s preseason camp currently being held in Bad Haring, Austria.
Friday’s medical examination confirmed that he will be ruled out for up to six months.
Saoud had earlier joined the Wolves in the summer transfer window on a one-year deal with an option to extend for a further year.
