Recovery training for the first team, two days of rest to follow
The Al-Sadd first team returned to the training ground at 5:30 PM on Sunday, a day after defeating Al-Ahli in the QNB Stars League Round 8 game.
The next game for the team is against Al-Duhail in Round 9. The 2-0 victory over Al-Ahli took Al-Sadd to third place in the league standings with 15 points from 6 games, with two delayed games against Al-Khor and Al-Arabi yet to be played.
On Sunday evening, the coaching staff ensured that the first team players underwent recovery training after their efforts against Al-Ahli, while the rest of the squad worked on physical and technical exercises.
The players were later given two days off as a break, considering the fatigue caused by the congested fixture schedule. Normal training will resume on Wednesday, when the team will step up their preparations for the Al-Duhail clash on November 2.
