QSL announces fixtures for the first phase of 2015/16 season

​Qatar Stars League (QSL) has announced the fixtures for the first phase of the 2015/16 season, which will begin on 11th September and will see the participation of 14 teams: Lekhwiya, Al Sadd, Al Jaish, Qatar, Al Ahli, Umm Salal, Al Gharafa, Al Arabi, Al Kharaitiyat, Al Khor, Al Sailiya, Al Wakra, Al Rayyan, Mesaimeer.

Lekwhiya won the title last season while Al-Sadd finished runners-up. Al Jaish ended up in third and Qatar SC rounded off the top four.

The Wolves are scheduled to face newly-promoted Mesaimeer in Round 1 with the match taking place on 13th September at the Grand Hamad Stadium of Al Arabi. On the 17th of the same month, Al Sadd will play their second match against Umm Salal at the Suhaim bin Hamad Stadium of Qatar SC.

The first phase will end with Round 13 which will Al Sadd face Al Jaish at the Abdulla bin Khalifa Stadium on 6th December.
