Pedro: Deserved result; happy to score my first goal for Al-Sadd

Al-Sadd defender Pedro spoke of how his side deserved the big 8-0 win over Umm Salal, pointing to the great performance shown by the Wolves.

Speaking to the club website after the game, Pedro said: “It was a big win and it came after the 5-0 win over Al-Rayyan, thus showing Al-Sadd’s capability to keep registering big wins and to work towards to reaching the top of the league. We seek to always give our best, especially as Al-Sadd has really tough matches coming up.”

As for his first goal for the team, Pedro said: “Firstly, I am happy with the win. I am also happy to have scored my first goal for Al-Sadd. I hope it opens up a world of good for me and the team in the coming matches so that we can compete strongly for all titles.”
