OFFICIAL: Tarek Salman extends stay at Al-Sadd until 2024
Al-Sadd have come to an agreement to retain Tarek Salman at the club for the next four and a half years, after extending his contract until 2024.
Tarek Salman has won 3 titles with the Wolves – the QNB Stars League title last season, along with the Super Cup and the Qatar Cup this season, in addition to winning the 2019 AFC Asian Cup with the Qatar national team.
For his part, Tarek expressed his delight at extending his stay with the Wolves until 2024.
“I am very happy and very proud of my new contract; playing with this team is a great responsibility,” the Al-Sadd defender told the club’s website.
He continued: “I feel very happy to be with the Qatari champions. I will continue to work with all my strength to always give my best. We are going to win titles.”
The player indicated his pride in having the trust of the coaching staff led by Xavi Hernandez, terming it as a great responsibility, especially as the team is facing many intense challenges at home and in Asia.
He also paid tribute to the Saddawi fans, who have always stood behind the team. Tarek pledged to fight with his teammates to bring happiness to the fans.
