OFFICIAL: Morteza Pouraliganji extends his stay at Al-Sadd to until the end of the season
Al-Sadd SC are pleased to announce the renewal of the contract of Iranian defender Morteza Pouraliganji, extending his stay at the club until the end of the 2017-18 season.
Pouraliganji, who joined Al-Sadd in January 2016, has won three titles with the club: the Qatar Cup and the Emir Cup in 2016-17 and the Qatar Super Cup in 2017-18.
The contract renewal comes after a series of excellent performances by Pouraliganji in recent matches. The Iranian international signed the new contract on Monday morning in the presence of club general manager Turki Nasser Al Ali.
Speaking to the club website, Pouraliganji said: “I’d like to thank the Al-Sadd management for renewing their trust in me. I have had a great time with the team in all aspects.”
“I am very happy to continue here and I will strive to give all that I have so that I can live up to the hopes of the management and the fans,” added Pouraliganji.
“I hope I can give my best in the upcoming challenges with the Al-Sadd team, in the domestic competitions and in Asia, to compete for all titles.”
