OFFICIAL: Al-Sadd sign Saoud Al-Hajri
Al-Sadd are pleased to announce the signing of goalkeeper Saoud Al-Hajri on a one-year contract, with an option to extend for another year.
The Qatari goalkeeper signed the contract at the Al-Sadd club headquarters, in the presence of club general manager Turki Al-Ali and sporting director Mohammed Gholam.

The new signing spoke of his happiness on joining the Wolves, saying: “I am delighted to join Al-Sadd, who are a big team with a lot of titles at home and also two Asian championships.”
Al-Hajri added: “The biggest factor that pushed me to join Al-Sadd was the plan for next season. Al-Sadd are a team that always looks to improve and work for the best.”
“It is a huge honour for me to be a part of Al-Sadd’s plans for next season. I will work hard to be in the good books of the management.”
As for the expected competition with fellow Al-Sadd goalkeeper Saad Al-Dosari, Al-Hajri said: “My presence here with Saad and competing with him is a big honour for me, especially as he is a personal friend of me before being a teammate. My competition with him is in the bext interests of the team. I will always support him to reach the summit.” He went on to add that the Al-Sadd players are all known to him and they are his friends off the pitch.
Al-Hajri concluded by saying: “I’m honoured to be at Al-Sadd. I hope this will be the door through which I return to the Qatar national team.”
