OFFICIAL: Al-Sadd extend Pedro Miguel’s contract until the 2024-25 season

Al Sadd SC has extended the contract of the football first team defender Pedro Miguel until the end of the 2024-25 season.

Pedro joined the ranks of Al-Sadd in January of 2015, going on to win 5 titles with the Wolves, in addition to his victory with the Qatar national team in the 2019 AFC Asian Cup. He will now continue to be a prominent part of the Al-Sadd defensive line.

For his part, Pedro expressed his happiness at extending his contract.

“I am very happy and very proud of signing my new contract,” Pedro said to the club’s website. “Playing with this team is a great responsibility.”

“This is my fifth season with Al Sadd, so I know the club and its ambitions well, and I am very proud to wear this shirt,” added the Qatari international.

Pedro continued: “We did a lot of wonderful things, which led me to develop for the better during the past few seasons, thanks to the club and the efforts of my colleagues in the team. My contract extension with Al-Sadd came at the right time.”

He also extended his wishes to the Saddawi fans, who have always stood behind the team, adding his expectation that they will be the biggest support for the team in the final match of the Qatar Cup on Friday, which will be held at the Al-Sadd Stadium.
