Muscle injury rules out Ali Asad for two weeks

Al-Sadd midfielder Ali Asad has been ruled out of action after sustaining a muscle injury in the 3-1 derby win over Al-Arabi.
Asad underwent medical checks which confirmed the injury to his connective muscle. The recuperation & recovery period could last from 10 days to 2 weeks. Medical staff from the Qatar national team will supervise during this period.
Meanwhile, the Al-Sadd first team continued to train on Wednesday, from 6 PM onwards at the secondary pitch. The team is preparing for the upcoming QSL Round 21 game agasint Al-Gharafa will be played on Monday at the Jassim bin Hamad Stadium. The Wolves are currently in fourth place in the league standings with 35 points.
