Brazilian striker Muriqui has been confirmed to be out of action for a period of two weeks after the Al-Sadd star sustained an ankle injury during the 2-1 win over Qatar SC in Round 5 of the Qatar Stars League.

Muriqui had scored the opening goal in the match before being substituted for Hamza al-Sanhaji at the end of the first half.
