Al-Sadd striker Muriqui returned to the top of the QSL scorers table after scoring his 8th goal in the match against Al-Gharafa in Round 8.

The goal made the Brazilian joint top scorer of the league alongside El Jaish striker Abdelrazak Hamdallah who has also netted 8 times. Just behind the duo is Youssef Msakni of Lekhwiya, who has 7 goals.
