​In an exclusive chat with Al-Sadd SC official website, Head of Football Mohammed Ghanem Al-Ali said that the match against Qatar SC today is very important for the team in the race for an AFC Champions League spot for next season.

As for the absence of Khalfan Ibrahim for the match, Mohammed Ghanem said: “Khalfan is like any other world star and he is one of them. Currently he is going through a tough phase but he is like gold which never rusts. His value and importance will only increase every day more than what it was. And so Khalfan will be given some rest to help him regain his form as soon as possible.”
