Khoukhi Boualem: We are in high spirits, I respect Al-Arabi and its fans

Al-Sadd’s Khoukhi Boualem spoke to the media about the importance of his side’s upcoming derby clash with Al-Arabi in the QNB Stars League.

Speaking at the pre-match press conference on Thursday, Khoukhi said: “It will be a difficult match. We are ready for it and our aim is to win the three points. Al-Arabi only have three points and will put up a strong performance.”

“We are going to face them in high spirits as we look to continue winning and stay on top of the league.”

Khoukhi also added: “This is my first match against my former team. I respect Al-Arabi and its fans; they’re a big team. I’m sad about its current state. I wish them good luck after this match.”
