Khalfan returns as Al-Sadd announce squad for derby against Al-Arabi
Khalfan Ibrahim made his return to the squad as Al-Sadd football first team concluded preparations for the upcoming QSL Round 8 game against Al-Arabi.
After missing the last few games due to a knee injury, Khalfan has since completed his recovery and has reached full fitness, leading to his inclusion in the matchday squad.
The match against Al-Arabi is set to kick off at 5:40 PM on Saturday at the Grand Hamad Stadium.
The Wolves wrapped up their preparations for the derby with a final training session from 5:30 PM on Friday. The coaching staff implemented the physical training programme, followed by light technical drills before moving on to ball training in small areas.

After the end of the session, head coach Jesualdo Ferreira announced the 18-man squad for the match against Al-Arabi: Saad Al-Dosari, Muhannad Naim, Morteza Pouraliganji, Mohammed Kasola, Ibrahim Majid, Hussam Kamal, Abdelkarim Hassan, Jugurtha Hamroun, Xavi Hernandez, Hassan Al-Haydos, Baghdad Bounedjah, Ali Asad, Salem Al-Hajri, Pedro, Jassir Yahya, Musab Kheder, Khalfan Ibrahim, Meshaal Qasim.
Hamed misses out due to another bout of illness
Hamed Ismail missed out on the matchday squad for the second consecutive round with another bout of illness after he had earlier been ruled out of the match against Al-Wakrah for the same reason.
Closed camp at the Movenpick Hotel
After the session, the Wolves left for a closed camp at the Movenpick Hotel, where they will stay until the time of departure for the match.
