Jose ​Daniel Carreno has announced the Qatar national team squad for the upcoming World Cup/Asian Cup qualifiers against China and Maldives. Qatar will face China on the 8th of October and then Maldives on the 13th of the same month, with both matches taking place in Doha.

The squad announcement saw the return of two Al-Sadd players – Khalfan Ibrahim and Ibrahim Majed. In total, there are 7 players from the Wolves in the national squad. They are: Saad al-Sheeb, Ibrahim Majed, Abdulkareem Hassan, Mohammed Kasola, Khalfan Ibrahim, Hassan al-Haydos, Ali Asad.

The national team will assemble on Friday with the players who had their club matches on Thursday. The others will join up on Saturday.
