Al-Sadd defender Mohammed Kasola will miss the match against El Jaish in Round 13 of the Qatar Stars League which will be played on Monday at the Thani bin Jassim Stadium.
Kasola was absent from training on Saturday and Sunday after an injury left him unfit. The coaching staff hence considered him outside their consideration for the next match against El Jaish, which will be a difficult match as the Wolves look for another win.
Al-Sadd concluded its training at 5:30 PM on the secondary pitch in the presence of management representatives such as vice president Nasser Mubarak al-Ali and head of football Mohammed Ghanem al-Ali.
The coaching staff put in place the training programme, making the players undergo light technical training. After the session, head coach Jesualdo Ferreira announced the 18-man list of probables, which is as follows:
Saad al-Dosari, Muhannad Naim, Gaser Yahya, Hassan al-Haydos, Nadir Belhadj, Xavi, Lee Jung Soo, Talal al-Baloushi, Khalfan Ibrahim, Ibrahim Majid, Muriqui, Abdulrahman Nasser, Saleh Bader, Nasser Ibrahim, Abdulkarim Hassan, Hamza al-Sanhaji, Musab Khodr, Ali Asad.
Later, the team left for a closed training session at the Grand Heritage Hotel, which will last until the time of departure for the match.
Five players called up to the Qatar Olympic team
On a related note, the coaching staff of the Qatar national Olympic team announced the list of players who will participate in a training camp in Spain to prepare for the upcoming U23 Asian Cup, to be hosted by Qatar in January. The following Al-Sadd players were called up: Muhannad Naim, Saleh Bader, Musab Khodr, Ali Asad, Abdulkarim Hassan.
