Al-Sadd defender Abdulkarim Hassan expressed his heartfelt congratulations and wishes to the Al-Sadd fans, the Qatari people and the Islamic community on the blessed occasion of Eid-ul Adha.
The player then went on to talk about the upcoming Qatar Stars League match against Al-Wakrah. Karim said that the match would be a difficult one. He referred to the special circumstances of the match, after Al-Sadd was only able to manage a draw against Umm Salal in Round 2, in addition to Al-Wakrah losing their opening two matches.
Karim told the club website: “Al Sadd achieved a great victory in the first round against Mesaimeer and then we drew against Umm Salal in the second after committing many individual mistakes which were exploited by Umm Salal who got a draw in the final moments.” He added that the Wolves have a great deal of responsibility to correct those mistakes and improve in order to win and collect the three points.
The defender went on to say that the team aims from the start to win all the matches in order to compete strongly for the QSL title, stressing that Al-Sadd is only at the beginning of the journey and the season is still long. The competition will be at its most intense between all the teams.
Karim completed his talk saying, “The Wolves are fully ready for the next match against Al-Wakrah, in which we will not accept anything but a win; we will give our best to win three new points.”
