Karim: A deserved victory; Xavi is a seasoned leader

​Abdulkarim Hassan, Al-Sadd first team defender, spoke of the deserved 4-0 victory that his team achieved over Mesaimeer in the first round of the Qatar Stars League. Speaking at the post-match press conference, Karim pointed to the great performance of the Wolves which led to the result.

Karim further went on to say: “It is a huge and important victory that comes at the very beginning of the new season. We will seek to give our best throughout the season, especially as Al-Sadd will face some tough challenges.”

As for Xavi and his debut for the team, Karim said: “Xavi is a superstar and a seasoned leader; he was able to gel in quickly with the team and we expect a lot from him especially as he has a lot of experience, which will have a great effect on the team.”
