Jung Woo-young signs a three-year contract with Al-Sadd

Korea Republic star Jung Woo-young put pen to paper and signed a three-year contract with Al-Sadd on Wednesday evening, committing his services to the club until the end of the 2020-21 season.

The signing took place at the club headquarters in the presence of Al-Sadd general manager Turki Nasser Al-Ali and sporting director Mohammed Gholam Al-Baloushi.

Jung arrives at the club after starring for his national team at the 2018 FIFA World Cup, where he played a prominent part in the 2-0 defeat of defending champions Germnay.

The 28-year-old will now join up with his new teammates at Al-Sadd’s overseas preseason training camp in Austria, which will be held from the 12th of July to the 28th of the same month.
