Hamroun reaches Doha to join Al-Sadd
Al-Sadd’s new signing Jugurtha Hamroun arrived in Doha on Thursday evening ahead of his medical and subsequent unveiling as a player of the Wolves.
The former Steaua Bucharest star was welcomed at the Hamad International Airport by Al-Sadd SC CEO Turki Al-Ali and first team manager Abdullah Al-Breik.
Hamroun then went on to undergo his medical at the Aspetar Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic Hospital.
The Algerian attacker has arrived at Al-Sadd on a one-year loan from Steaua with an option for Al-Sadd to make the deal permanent.
Hamroun thus becomes the fourth and final foreign player in the Al-Sadd squad, in addition to Xavi, Baghdad Bounedjah and Morteza Pouraliganji.
