Japanese referee Sato set to take charge of Al-Sadd x Al-Wasl

The referees committee at the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) has appointed the panel of referees who will take charge of the 2018 AFC Champions League Matchday Five fixtures.

Japanese referee Ryuji Sato has been named as the main referee for the Group C game between Al-Sadd and Al-Wasl, which will be played on Monday at the Jassim bin Hamad Stadium.

Sato will be assisted by linesmen Hiroshi Yamauchi (Japan) and Toru Sagara (Japan). Baraa Abu Aisha (Palestine) will be the fourth official while Talal Ali (Jordan) will be the match commissioner. Subhuddin bin Salih (Malaysia) will be the referees observer.
