Jaffal Rashed: “We respect Mesaimeer; we aim to get the first win”

Jaffal Rashid, deputy head of football at Al-Sadd Club has stressed that the Wolves are ready for their first match of the 2015/16 Qatar Stars League, in which they face Mesaimeer at 6 PM on Sunday evening at the Grand Hamad Stadium.
Jaffal said: “The opening match is very important and we will give our best in order to collect the first three of this season.” He also stressed that the team had full respect for newly promoted Mesaimeer.
The deputy head of football also said in an exclusive statement to the club website: “The team is going at a steady pace after the preparatory period in which we played many friendly matches, which contributed to the technical and physical readiness of the players. With the return of the international players, the team will be, God willing, fully ready before the first game of this season.”
He pointed out that the experience of Al-Sadd will be crucial during the first game, especially since Mesaimeer are playing in their first QSL season and will seek to give their best to turn the match in its favour.
Jaffal concluded by saying: “Our aim is to get the three points in order to go into the coming weeks with high spirits and compete strongly for the prestigious QSL title.”
