Internationals return to Al Sadd training
Al-Sadd’s Qatari international players reported for training on Wednesday, joining the club squad for the ongoing preparations for the 2019 AFC Champions League quarter-final second leg against Al-Nassr. The match is set to be played on Monday at the Jassim bin Hamad Stadium.
Hassan Al-Haydos, Saad Al-Dosari, Meshaal Barsham, Pedro Miguel, Abdelkarim Hassan, Hashim Ali, Abdulaziz Al Ansari, Salem Al Hajri, Akram Afif, Tarek Salman and Khoukhi Boualem all returned to Al-Sadd after almost two weeks with the Qatar national team, who played against Afghanistan and India in the joint qualifiers for the FIFA World Cup 2022 and AFC Asian Cup 2023.
Wednesday’s training session was held at Aspire, with the first team members in high spirits ahead of the Al-Nassr game.
The coaching staff led by Xavi Hernandez supervised the session, which saw the international players undergo recovery training. The rest of the team went through physical and technical drills.
