​Head coach Jesualdo Ferreira gave the Al-Sadd football first team a two day break after a period of intense training following the Umm Salal match.

The Wolves are preparing for the upcoming Qatar Super Cup match against Lekhwiya, which is set to be played on the 21st of January at the Hamad bin Khalifa Stadium of Al-Ahli Club. The first team will return to training at 5:30 PM on Wednesday with a session at the secondary pitch of the club as part of preparation for the friendly game against Saudi side Al-Taawon on Friday.

Meanwhile, the team underwent a physical test at 11 AM on Monday at the Aspire Academy. All the available players took part in the test, which was organized by the Qatar Stars League management.
